My story

Myositis affects thousands of people in the UK, young and old. It can be life threatening, and almost always disabling. However, it is still relatively rare and does not attract the funding that more common illnesses do.

The Myositis Support Group is the only UK Charity that concentrates on this crippling condition, providing support for sufferers, and funding for research. The Group has already donated many thousands of pounds for research projects, but this only scratches the surface of the problem. We need to do more – there is still no cure, and in many cases no treatment either.

By donating to the group you can be assured that your money will go where it is needed; this is a small charity which spends only a minimum on administration. Your money goes to where it is needed the most - research and support.

I am inspired by an amazing family living with the effects of Myositis, they never complain. Furthermore they give so much back to the community in which they live.

Please give what you can to fund more research and help amazing people.

Thank you
