On the 29th April 2012 I will be running the Manchester Marathon in aid of Help a Capital Child, a charity that helps disadvantaged young people in the local area, which considering my profession I thought quite appropriate.You can find more details about this charity on the Capital FM website.

With just 4 weeks to go training has gone really well, with just the odd blip in the programme every now and then! Panicking slightly as I am going on an all inclusive weeks holiday to Cyprus over Easter but I intend on taking my trainers and kit. Will have to see how many miles I manage to squeeze in! I might just have to be happy with a time around 5 hours in order to fully enjoy my holiday!!
