3 years ago, my husband Tim experienced a bleed on the brain and spent several months in hospital. During this time, Headway Black Country were a fantastic source of support for me. Through them, I was able to access counselling and support groups. Their support to me during that time was crucial. I continued attending the carer groups with them once Tim came home, right up until our recent move out of the area. 

Words aren’t enough to thank them for all they did for me. That’s why I have registered to run the Inflatable course in Stafford on Saturday 1st October 2022. The course has different lengths you can register for and I am going all out and going for the 15k! It’s not just a run - there are a number of inflatable obstacles for me to conquer along the route, including tunnels to crawl through and walls to climb!
