What about ya...........I'm Sarah.  I am currently celebrating my 30th birthday year, and thought of no better way to make my year more memorable, apart from eating pleanty of gorgeous cakes, is to dust off my old rotting trainers in the back of the wardrobe and take part in the 2010 London Marathon.

Now I'm no running machine (at the moment), and the thought of running 26+ miles makes me break out in sweats.  However I have set myself the challenge of completing this (walk/jog/run/crawl) marathon and am determined to raise £3000, for Sue Ryder Care; and really want you to help me!!!!!!please!!!!!!

Sue Ryder Care is a charity who care for people with long-term and end of life conditions.  Examples of what your donations could provide and go towards; a donation of £7.50 could provide a complementary therapy session for someone with cancer, £25 could pay for two home vists for someone who has had a stroke, £300 could cover the daily cost of running a hospice bed and £1,500 could cover the weekly cost of running a clinic at one of their hospices.

I have chosen to run for Sue Ryder Care because I have experienced the fantastic care that they provide.  My sister Sue sadly passed away 03 January 2008 whilst at Leckhampton Court Hospice to Cancer.  Neither me or my family could have wished for better care than the staff at Leckhampton provided Sue, and the compassion and dignity that was shown to Sue and my family in those final hours and after.

If running the marathon and raising my target was going to be easy it wouldn't be a challenge - with your help I know I can do it.
