I have spent a year suffering with dissociative amnesia. I have lost 13 years of my memory which makes everyday life for me very difficult. I am only just getting to know a husband and two wonderful children as well as two step daughters who I didn’t have 13 years ago.

These changes in my life have made me agoraphobic in my local environment, and has led me to suffer with depression and anxiety attacks. Small things like going to the corner shop are difficult for me. I want to use this page to help myself and others. Small milestones for me like going out are easier if I am helping someone else.

On a recent trip to Luxor my family visited the orphanage and they are in need of help. The money we can raise together will make huge differences to them, so please, dig deep and for every donation made I will make the effort to do something outside of my comfort zone. Feel free to offer suggestions for what you would like me to do and I will try to do them so we can help the children who are not so fortunate as the ones here in the UK.
