Fundraising for Care of Police Survivors
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will again be taking part in the Care of Police Survivors UK Police Unity Tour Chapter IX - 2019 to help raise funds for those families and loved ones left behind after officers have fallen in the line of duty. This has been something that has happened far too often recently and as a serving officer and mother I feel that this is just a little thing I can do to help those left behind. Also joining me this year will be my partner Neil.
Having taken part in the ride for the past two years I was overwhelmed by how many families are affected by the loss of an officer and the support provided by COPS to those affected is phenomenal. The emotions I felt at the finish line were overwhelming and seeing the support from across the globe to all those there was incredible. So I feel it only right to ride again.......its the least I can do.
As part of the ride I will be given an engraved bracelet with the details of an officer fallen, upon arrival at the National Arboretum, I will hand that bracelet to the officers family.
