Some of you may know that I have had a practise fall as I jumped out of a small plane when I was still only 49 (on a trip to New Zealand) from 15,000 ft. However I was not organised then and missed the opportunity to raise money for charity. I am a board member of Penumbra - an organisation which is at the forefront of innovation and creativity with regards to services for people with mental health problems. Money is tight right now, as you can imagine, so I thought I would do my little bit raising some extra cash and having an incredible experience at the same time. This is all because I was starting to experience vertigo when climbing mountains (a favourite past-time of mine) and I thought if I had done something more extreme then it would disappear! My logic may not be sound but it's a good excuse.
