The challenge is a 24 hour relay race, "Le Mans" style, with teams of 8 running 1 mile stints throughout the day and night. Those of you familiar with The Cabbage Patch pub will understand it's affiliation with rugby, hence this appropriate choice of charity. Those of you familiar with me will immediately recognise that the challenge here is not running a mile, but being in the pub all day and still being able to run at all by my 10pm on Sat night slot! To up the ante further, I have decided that rather than run I will be space hopping my mile! |
