Kelly, Sarah and Helen are raising funds for the Yorkshire Cancer Centre. Have  a look at their website http://www.yorkshirecancercentre.org.uk/ to see how see how your support can help make a big and positive difference to the patients, their relatives and friends who all receive treatment and support from the Yorkshire Cancer Centre.

We are taking part in the Trek China Challenge in aid of the Yorkshire Cancer Centre’s £10 million appeal. The trek involves a 5 day trek of approximately 40 miles along the Great Wall of China as it snakes up, down and across the mountains around Beijing. This involves some 7 hour days filled with navigating our way to the wall trekking along it and days spent climbing some 1200 steps which is a daunting task for all three of us. We plan to undertake a training program including the Yorkshire 3 peaks to prepare ourselves for the challenge ahead.

The Yorkshire cancer centre appeal helps maintain the unparalleled levels of treatment and care to cancer patients in the Yorkshire region. The £10 million appeal aims to further enhance the facilities and care for cancer patients in the Yorkshire region.
