My story
It is my birthday time of year again and I am so glad you are coming to my party.
Having been to London Zoo this holidays (thank you Sarah) and seen all the wonderful giraffes, I thought I would like to raise money for the Giraffe Conservation Foundation instead of getting any presents (I was a very lucky at Christmas). A friend of my mother's started the charity a few years ago and it seemed a good idea to help.
The Giraffe Conservation Foundation's vision is that of a sustainable future where all giraffe populations and (sub)species are protected and secure in the wild. I never realised that in the last decade or so the giraffe population has dropped from over 140,000 to less than 80,000 across all species that is not good so hopefully any funds I can raise will help.
