HELP BUILD A BRIDGE
We are two ladies who go to All Saints Church in Burbage.
Our church is trying to raise £6,500 to build a bridge in Sudan. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored us; its amazing how much the total has become.
We have done the 10km run today. We completed the course in 1 hour 10 mins 58 secs; this beat our best time by a mile (thank you Red Bull and Jelly Babies!). We only walked to climb Salisbury Plain's answer to Everest (Sidcup Hill).
There is still time to donate some money towards the target. Please sponsor us if you can - thank you.

After years of fear, displacement and despair caused by a long civil war, the village of Kembedole in southern Sudan has started rebuilding its community life with the help of Tearfund.
One of the biggest needs is a new bridge across the river which divides part of the village from fertile land where crops like pineapples can be grown and then sold at the local market. This will bring vital income to the community.
All Saints Church has pledged to raise £6,500 for the bridge project. The government of southern Sudan has promised iron girders and villagers are collecting sand and chipping rocks by hand.
They all want to play their part in making their dream a reality. Please help that dream be realised and help build this bridge.
