Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit our page.
The Challenge:
On the Sunday 19th September 2010 Sam, Darren and Scott take on the Great North Run, running over 13 miles (21km) from Newcastle to South Shields. This is the second attempt for the Kingston brothers, while Mr Lawrence takes to the streets for the very first time. We would all appreciate any support ; be it in the form of sponsorship for our collective charity Good Karma, or simply best wishes for what is no doubt going to be a tough challenge for us all.
The Charity:
During my travels last summer I (Scott) was met a fella called Dan Harrison in a hostel in Split, Croatia. Dan has taken a career break to embark on a truly inspiring expedition. Better Life Cycle is a one man unsupported bike ride from London to Cape Town, aiming to raise £100,000 of sponsorship, to deliver directly to African orphanages en route.
In association with Good Karma, Dan and his friends promise to give every single penny raised directly to the kids, helping to secure a better future for hundreds of children. For more information please visit Dan’s website which details more about the cause as well as updates and stories of his travels. http://www.betterlifecycle.com/
Please give generously as we not only want to help Dan in his quest but also cannot imagine a greater, more deserving cause.
Thank you
Scott, Darren and Sam
