<p>In March 2012 I shall be trekking through the southern part of the&nbsp;Negev desert in Israel to raise much neede funds for the JNF.</p> <p>The terrain is particularly challenging as you can see from the photos of last year's event in a similar region further north. To be more precise we shall spend a week climbing, and trekking 50 miles through quite a mountainous area with the purpose of raising money for some fantastic JNF projects&nbsp;establishing and supporting life in this quite inhospitable part of the world.</p> <p>With your help JNF can continue with their aim to&nbsp; turn the desert green and fight and win&nbsp; this battle against water shortage</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
