My story
In March 2012 I shall be trekking through the southern part of the Negev desert in Israel to raise much neede funds for the JNF.
The terrain is particularly challenging as you can see from the photos of last year's event in a similar region further north. To be more precise we shall spend a week climbing, and trekking 50 miles through quite a mountainous area with the purpose of raising money for some fantastic JNF projects establishing and supporting life in this quite inhospitable part of the world.
With your help JNF can continue with their aim to turn the desert green and fight and win this battle against water shortage

JNF is an apolitical organisation benefiting all races and religions in Israel. It raises money for water projects, reservoirs and water conservation and has recently expanded its scope to run diverse projects for underprivileged people such as a hospital, a riding school for the disabled and a youth village.
