Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’ve signed myself up for the Jurassic Coast Might Hike 2019!! The event is run by Macmillan Cancer Support who provide amazing care and support to those who have been diagnosed.
My grandad battled cancer for seven years and the MacMillan nurses were simply amazing. My grandad was always a strong person and he was part of the Coldstream Guards. Grandad eventually lost his battle and passed away a few years ago. This is for you grandad.
For me personally, the walk will be a huge challenge both physically and mentally! I doubt I walked 23 miles in the whole of last year! So now it’s the New Year, I actually have to stick to my New Years resolutions and get fit and lose weight in order to survive the hike! There’s going to be hills and everything! Training has already begun and your donations in support would be so much appreciated for this extremely worthy cause.
