Please help me fill that humongous target above and enable me to rasie money for ASBAH who help and support literally thousands of children and their families suffering from Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.

21 years ago my little brother Ram was born with Hydrocephalus. The term ‘hydrocephalus' is from two Greek words meaning ‘water in the head'. In fact, the ‘water' is cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), a clear liquid which is produced all the time in the cavities or ventricles inside the brain. This would normally be absorbed  back into the bloodstream via the spinal cord. Hydrocephalus is caused by the inability of CSF to drain away. 

In the case of Ram, this has left him needing daily care for the rest of his life and although he is the happiest :) young man you will have the pleasure of meeting the condition has left him with learning difficulties, disability and over time visual impairment. 

ASBAH are commited to helping families and individuals that are affected by this condition. From pregnancy, to childhood and right through adult life, ASBAH are there. I want to help them continue their efforts, research and educate more people about this condition.
