Update- 03/03/10- Yesterday was my sponsored silence...how did it go... Fantastic! I was able to stay quite all day and accomplish my task. It was difficult enough for me to feel challenged, but easier then I thought at first. I would like to thank everyone that has supported me on this journey; it gives me great pleasure to hand over the donations to A Rocha UK, to use for the work of Will.
- I have been working for A Rocha UK for over 4 years now and this is the first time I am trying something like this. I hope it works and I am able to raise money to help Will! I have always worked for pay and was really amazed to hear Will joined the team because he believed it to be his calling from God, at the time he wasn’t being paid. He has since gone on to work diligently organising an environmental community project in , engaging with groups of Young Adults, and speaking for A Rocha at a wide range of events. During his short time with us Will has achieved so much and it’s very inspiring to be around him. The money I raise will go towards his salary and at a time when he really needs it, as he is preparing to get married in summer 2010.
