I'm taking part in the "Adidas Women's 5K Challenge" on Sept /11 @ Hyde Park and later, on Sept/25 I will be running in France once again, the "Paris-Versailles la Grande Classique", 18K, from the Eiffel Tower to the Palace of Versailles.
All of this in the name of raising mountains of dosh to contribute with a UK-registered charity: Friends of Colombia for Social Aid with the purpose of helping deprived children in Colombia to receive better medical care. This year all my sponsorship resulting from both events, will contribute to supply medical and nursing equipment for the San Miguel Health Centre in Tuta, Boyacá, which provides basic medical treatment to help some of the most disadvantaged children in a very poor region of my country.
