Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with blood cancer. Founded in 1974, by growing our register of stem cell donors, conducting research and supporting patients, Anthony Nolan cures blood cancer and blood disorders. But we need to do more. Without you, there is no cure.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fund-raising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I will be spending 5 days surviving on an uninhabited island! (Not in the outbacks of Australia, but closer to home. But rest assured insects are definitely on the menu and this really will be life at it's most basic!) With virtually no facilities and being set "tasks" by survival experts - we have been told to expect anything and a challenge it certainly will be. As the date is 22nd September I still have time to raise sponsorship. The more money raised, the more we will be helping towards saving the lives of many many children and young adults dying from Leukaemia.

The Anthony Nolan Trust has offered the gift of life to over 1500 children and young adults over the last 5 years, whose only hope of survival was a bone marrow transplant.  They receive no government funding and rely solely on public donations raised through sponsored events like this.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Anthony Nolan Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support - I'm sure the thought of me eating worms will put a smile on your face!
