Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Some of you will know that my mother suffered and died from MND. It's nasty and we need your help to fund research for a cure and pay for care. It's sad to say the Government care was poor and the MND Association's help with care was essential. Your money will ease somebody's suffering.

This year I competed the Trans Alp Challenge (TAC). What is the TAC? It’s an 8 day stage race, completed mostly off-road on mountain bikes. The event covered c. 350miles and there was 25,000m of vertical gain during the 8 days. To put that into perspective that’s 3 x the height of Mt. Everest !

The event is completed in pairs. I raced with my team mate Jeremy. We both compete for a shop in Horsham – Freeborn Bikes and through them are supported by Ellsworth Cycles. If you would like to have a look at what we did, then follow this link - http://www.transalpchallenge.com/

The challenge was tough to race and we had a few too many mechanicals for my liking! But we still finsihed 58th in Men's pairs and 81st overall.

So once again thank you for all your support!!

Many thanks for your support.
