Did you know 1 in 4 children in the Southend area live in poverty?

Poverty, hardship, chaotic backgrounds and unemployment are just some of the factors that damage fragile young lives.

The money raised from Sleep Easy will equip young people at risk of homelessness with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to live a safe, happy and fulfilling adult life.

To raise awareness, Post 16 students at SHS alongside staff members will be sleeping rough from 7pm - 7am with the aim of raising funds to aid the completion of a purpose built building to help young people at risk of homelessness.
