Well done to all the team!

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A group of us, all part of Team Bailey, are climbing Snowdon on Sunday 15 July 2012 for the amazing young man who is Bailey Sarwa.

In 2011 Bailey was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer which affects about 100 children in the UK at any one time. Sadly this is the second time he has had to fight this terrible illness and he is only 13 years old. He was first diagnosed at the tender age of 4 and although only given a small chance of survival against all the odds he came through. He is a real fighter!

Bailey is a wonderful young man who has had to grow up far too fast because of his battle with cancer. He has had to deal with things that adults would find difficult and yet he is hanging in there. Our mission is to help Bailey beat this terrible disease and just enjoy being a child once again. We can do this by raising in the region of £500,000 to pay for potential life saving treatment in the USA or Germany. Unfortunately because Bailey has suffered from neuroblastoma before and has now relapsed he has been unable to secure funding via the NHS to pay for treatment. The eligibility criteria for funding states anyone who has relapsed cannot be given financial assistance. Please help US to help Bailey win this battle.
