Team Lisburn Rd is competing against other teams from across the Northern Ireland Civil Service to raise money and stock for Action Cancer. We will be organising fundraising events, collecting stock for our charity shop Something Different on the Lisburn Road, and taking over Something Different on February 12, 2015. The winners of the challenge will be announced at NICS Live on March 4th, 2015!
Our team already raised £434.59 on Monday at Tesco Knockbreda in only 4 hours, and now we need your help!
Ways to help:
1. Donate through our site here at JustGiving.com and your donation goes straight to Action Cancer.
2. TEXT the word GIVR55 followed by £1, £2, £5, or £10 (or more) to the number 70070. Your donation will appear on our site at JustGiving.com and will go straight to Action Cancer.
3. Stock Gathering for the charity shop Something Different on the Lisburn Road. We need YOUR gently used clothing, books, and furniture. More details to follow.
4. SHOP CHALLENGE! - on February 12th, 2015 from 10am - 16:00, our team will take over Something Different for the day in an effort to raise money for Action Cancer. Stay tuned for details of the events of the day.
5. Vintage Fashion Show - February 6th, 2015, 20:00 - 22:00, in the Pavilion at Stormont. Fashion Show hosted by Julian Simmons with DJ, raffle, and pop-up charity shop on the night! Tickets are £7.50 - contact the Team for more info and for your ticket.
