UPDATE 11/7/09 - Watling Way Swimming Pool at Galley Hill have agreed for the sponsored swim to take place in their pool.  They are happy to make the pool available after school one day, at the end of September and provide a lifeguard.  They have kindly said that there will not be a charge for this service, if we fit it around their users!!!! That is wonderul!!! 

Our 11 year old son, Kieran, is doing a sponsored swim for the Dyspraxia Foundation.  We have just read the fundraising page on the foundaton's webite and they need to urgently raise funds for all the support work they do for children and adults with Dyspraxia.

When we found out that our youngest child has Dyspraxia we were unsure of what to do, or infact what Dyspraxia was. The Dyspraxia Foundation was so helpful, they supplied us with information on Dyspraxia and talked on the phone for some time.

The support groups they have are also great.  To meet with other families is really good and finding out how other families cope.  They also arrange activities and events for these families.

Please sponsor Kieran he will really swim hard and swim as far as he possibly can.  We are contacting a local pool to arrange this in the next couple of days and would really appreicate your support!!!!!
