Moldova is the poorest country in Europe. Moldovan women and children are amongst the most trafficked people in the world. An estimated 25% of children are living without their parents and are at high risk of unemployment and falling prey to prostitution and forced labour.
The stats are a little overwhelming, but this summer I'll be making a difference as I help to lead a summer camp that will give the kid an opportunity to play games, do crafts, sing songs, and get to know God.
The money our team raises will not only cover our own costs (flights etc) but will also provide craft supplies, sports equipment, and support the running costs of the camp.
