Endometriosis is a condition i've lived with for all my adult life, and one that affects around 10% of women. It's a leading cause of infertility and has no cure - we're not even sure exactly what causes it.
Raising awareness is important - an early diagnosis can make a huge difference to womens lives, as does having the support of people who really understand.
I'll be swimming in support of this charity because it has a deep personal meaning for me. Living with endometriosis has been a daily battle, through hormone treatments and surgery, and knowing that one day it might well come back.
