The East Lancashire Hospice is an amazing place. I have first hand experience of their wonderful caring work. My dad spent the last week of his life at the hospice and words cannot express how wonderful all the staff are there. It is like a tranquil oasis in a storm. They made my dad's last week of life calm and pain free and I was so glad that this place exists. I just want the Hospice to go on supporting cancer patients and their families for many more years to come. So in my dad's memory please be as generous as you can.

This page is here for people to donate money for the East Lancs Hospice. On Saturday 4th February 2012, I will be holding a fundraising evening at St Mary's Parish Centre on Lock Street in Oswaldtwistle. I was going to be sponsored to shave my head for the charity, but having been told by many people that they would sponsor me more not to do this, I have decided that I will challenge you all to donate £500 before 10pm on the evening. If this is reached, I will not shave my head. Raffle tickets will be sold and there will be a potatoe pie supper on the night.
