Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
True to form I have left certain aspects of the cycle challenge to the last minute yet again, I have been training, honest. However the most important part, fundraising has been slightly overlooked, although the Cycle challenge is taking place in May, the deadline for the fund raising is in February so please, do not delay and give today!
In July 2010 I will be undertaking a London to Paris cycle challenge, in aid of the Huntington's Disease Association (HDA) the cycle challenge will take five days and will involve cycling between 120 - 140km per day.
Huntington's disease is a progressive degenreative neurological disorder, which causes a steady decline in peoples physical, emotional and cognitive skills.
The Huntington's Disease Association exists to support people affected by Huntington's Disease (HD) and to provide information and advice to professionals whose task it is to support Huntington's Disease families in the UK.
Currently there is no cure for the disease but the symptoms can be managed. There is much research going on throughout the world into treatment and prevention of HD.
