Every day in rural India, many Indian women typically walk up to seven miles, or even more, to collect water for their family. I'm walking seven miles on Sunday 13th September for Jeevika Trust, a charity which I have got involved with in the last few months. The money I raise will go directly to support Jeevika's water projects in rural India, and help rural families get reliable access to safe water.

 

I got involved in Jeevika through a friend, and have seen the dedication of the small team in the UK, who seek to raise funds and awareness of the problems facing millions of ordinary people in rural India. Through their small-scale projects they are making a real difference to people's lives. So please support me and help this important cause.
