Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As part of the Silverstring Support Team, I took part in The Run '09, a 10km run around the edge of Northampton, on 4th October 2009.
This was the first run that I have done, and I am pleased to announce that my time for the 10km was 1 hour, 5 minutes, and 15 seconds. I am still fundraising for the National Museum of Computing.
The Museum is located at Bletchley Park, near Milton Keynes, and aims to show how computing has developed over the past century. It showcases the ten-year project to rebuild Colossus, one of the computers that was used to break German ciphers during the Second World War. The Museum does not receive government funding, so is dependent on sponsorship to continue with its work.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe – JustGiving will never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the Museum, and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. It’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I I hope you will agree that this is a worthy cause.
