I am raising money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research as they were nominated by a close and good friend. He was diagnosed with Leukaemia in September 2011 and had a bone marrow transplant in December 2011. Fortunately he is recovering fantastically well after battling the disease so bravely and head on. He is a true inspiration to others, both sufferers and non-sufferers. I wanted to do something to help raise funds and awareness for a charity of his choice and I decided upon the Mens Health Survival of the Fittest taking place in Cardiff on 07 October 2012! The charity he chose was Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research as it is a fantastic cause in the battle against blood cancers.
