Hello and welcome to my JustGiving Page!!
I am taking part, once again, in the Stonewall Brighton Equality Walk, which is taking place on Sunday 2nd May 2010. Last years walk helped raise money to make a DVD of the play FIT, written and directed by Rikki Beadle Blair. That DVD has been sent to every secondary school in the UK, and has been seen by over 20,000 pupils.
But the important work that Stonewall do to raise awareness and make change continues, and they can only do that through donations, sponsorship and fundraising events like this one.
I will be doing the 10K walk through the streets of Brighton and need your help to raise, what I consider to be a modest target, of £1000. Last year I managed £580, and I want to improve on this. As last year, I will be walking as Lola Lasagne (in flat shoes!!), and will be arriving at the finish point of R Bar at around 4pm. However, I shall be walking a little further to Legends Bar as I am the afternoon cabaret that day.
