Run For The Money (Two For The Show)

Hey Elvis! Did somebody mention snickers? I 'love' chocolate but I'd rather have a marathon ANY day! Actually...Make that day the 7th November as thats when my big size 8 feet will be participat-ING in the NY Marathon

Yes Siree! I will be trudging along with both corns and corny jokes through the streets of New York in order to help less fortunate children (In this case brain damaged kids) but without your support none of this is oign to be possible so...Elvis? Everyone else? You got that?

*Uhh huh*

 

Childrens Trust

Tadworth need us to raise lots of money and more in order to help the numerous kids who have suffered from brain damage with the aftercare they need in order to survive/function as normally or as miraculously as possible (Alfie Russell!) as some of the cases have turned out!

 

My Own Story

1987

I had an accident to whereby a part of a hotel ceiling fell on my head and I developed menegitis...I was immediatly hospitilised adn administered numerous medicines for a number fo weeks...I suffered and amount of brain damage from this but the worst was yet to come

1996

I was visciously attacked after being broken into by a gang of thugs...During the break-in they headbutted me causing my nose to break and then they preceeded to repeatedly smash my head against a brick wall to whereby my brain began to bounce off the crane of my skull...This continued until my head began fracturing against the pressure of it hitting the wall...By the time they had finished I was already unconscious and they left me slumped on teh floor...When the police arrived (Thanks to a neighbours complaints of excessive noise) the top half of my body was so covered in blood that I looked like something out of a horror movie

 

*I never recieved after care from neither of my brain injuries adn I know the consequences of not having this important therapy...This is why it is so vital that these children recieive the care that they need as they (Being children) are unable to look after themselves as well as I have done*

London 10k Run

I recently completed this particular run (Sunday 11th July) with no prior training in 1 hour 15 minutes...What can I say! The ING...26.2 miles? It's a good job we have a whole week in New York! I'm going to need it!
