I am trying to raise some money for the Oesophagus Patients Associtation (OPA) which is a relatively small organisation that was set up by former oesophageal cancer patients to provide information and support to other patients and carers. I became aware of the organisation after my father was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer around 5 years ago. The information that has been provided by OPA since then has given reassurance, but also practical advice on what to expect post-treatment (without an oesphagus) and how to enjoy a good quality of life.
