Story
Colleagues, Friends and Family,
Colorectal cancer is the second largest cause of cancer deaths in the world. Every year 500,000 people die and almost 1 million new cases of colorectal cancer are diagnosed. If the disease is detected early enough 9 out of 10 cases are curable with excellent survival beyond 10 years, which is why enlightened public health services are starting to use a range of screening methods to optimise early detection within their population I’ll be undertaking this 12k walk (along with Leo, our Golden Retriever) to raise funds for further research into this serious condition. I know these are financially challenging times for everyone, however, I hope you can make a contribution, no matter what the value, in order to ensure the work done by this excellent charity can continue. In doing so you’ll be helping to combat one of the biggest killers in the world – and playing a part in helping raise awareness of the condition
Many Thanks
Steve
