The St Nick Awards return for their 4th year this December.

With new awards, categories and a new venue for 2009 this years St Nicks promise to be the best so far.  This years venue will be Aspire, Infirmary Street, Leeds.

The purpose of the St Nick Awards is to recognize the excellent work carried out by professionals in the turnaround and restructuring community in Yorkshire, as well as providing an excellent networking opportunity, a cracking night out and all whilst raising money for charity. Last year’s event was attended by over 300 professionals from across the industry and raised £6,000 for the British Heart Foundation in memory of our dear colleague Phil Tate who died tragically in 2008.

All profits from this event will go to Breast Cancer Haven who in 2008 opened their third 'haven' in Leeds.  Breast Cancer Haven is a national charity helping people through the experience of breast cancer. Haven offers free complementary therapies, emotional support and counselling to anyone affected by breast cancer through their tranquil, welcoming Havens in London, Hereford and Leeds. 

Over the past three years the St Nicks has been a sell-out and has raised over £20,000 for local charities.  After a very busy year for restructuring we expect for the event to be even higher than previous years.
