Dove House Hospice provides specialist care in Hull and East Yorkshire to adults with a progressive life limiting illnesses. With the patient and their family at the centre of the hospice's care, a range of services are provided to ensure each patient gets the right support and care they need.

Story

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>On 2nd April 2012 Joy Davis lost her fight against Ovarian Cancer.</p> <p>Joy was a dedicated member of Kingston Kayak Club, Hull for many years.</p> <p>Joy encouraged thousands of people, both children and adults, including ourselves, to try kayaking.</p> <p>She was involved in organising many activities, which included canoe polo, slalom, marathon and the summer school.</p> <p>On 30th June/ 1st July, we have set ourselves the challenge to complete the "Cheshire Ring Race", this is 96 miles with 92 locks and 3 tunnels, in a K2 Racing Kayak. &nbsp;We are raising funds for Target Ovarian Cancer UK and Dove House Hospice.&nbsp;</p> <p>Donations for Dover House Hospice can be made on this page, we have set up another page for Target Ovarian Cancer - (www.justgiving.com/andrew-stuart). &nbsp;You can split the donation or choose your preferred charity.</p> <p>Your support will be appreciated</p> <p>Andy &amp; Stu</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
