<p>I have worked for The Body Shop for 5 years and we are encouraged to fund raise for different projects during the year. This year, The Body Shop Foundation are coordinating a trek in the Sahara. This caught my eye, as it involves a few of my pet hates:- exercise, heat & sand, so it really does represent a challenge for me!</p>
<p>I need to raise the amount above, so The Foundation can ensure that the local communities we will be walking through, have access to clean, safe water for the 1st time ever. £15 can enable one person to access safe water and improved sanitation, £200 could buy a locally built rope pump in Mozamibque.</p>
<p>Did you know, that one child dies every 20 seconds from diarrhoea caused by unclean water & sanitation? Hard to believe, but yes they do! So you can see, this is really an important undertaking, and every penny counts. So please donate, any amount big or small is sure to make a difference, and will be gratefully received.</p>
