In August of 2008 Kristian Luke Gent, the brother of my Fiancée, sadly died from a brain haemorrhage at the tender age of ten years old.
Kristian was cared for by the intensive care team at Pendlebury Hospital, now known as Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. This hospital is supported by the Manchester Children's Critical Care Fund charity.
To support the Manchester Children's Critical Care Fund and also in memory of Kristian, I will be running the Great Manchester 10k Run on 15th May 2011.
