Every year early November, World Flight brings together a handful of fixed base flight simulators and a few hundred virtual pilots and air traffic controllers to raise money for various world-wide charities.

For a number of years, I have "flown" as crew for World Flight Scotland on my friend's Airbus A300F Simulator.

This year I will be flying my own Boeing 737NG simulator for 31 legs over 7 days between Monday 1st November and Sunday 7th November 2010.

The Boeing 737NG is one of the world's most popular aircraft with over 5,000 sold. The variant I will be flying is the Boeing 737-800 series.

I will be assisted in the air (as I was on the ground, during construction) by several of my colleagues and friends.
