Thanks for taking a look!
More than a year ago I promised to open the Dorchester Festival with a charity abseil and although I keep thinking I must be mad I'm not regretting it because I'm relying on you to make it worth my while!!
The money I raise will be shared between Footsteps - our Festival Charity - and Dorchester Abbey. Footsteps (www.footsteps.ltd.uk) helps children to walk and the Abbey needs a part of it's roof replacing so I hope you'll agree that abseiling is a neat way to raise funds.
Most of my fellow abseilers will have their funds matched by their employers but as neither the boss upstairs nor the Church Commissioners are likely to match what I raise I'm setting my target high and would love to beat it!!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I know you can't use CAF with Justgiving but I'd be more than happy to receive your CAF cheques when you come and watch my descent at noon on 30th April!!
