Story

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SPONSORED NICK AND ME FOR THE 2015 LIVERPOOL HALF MARATHON ON 29TH MARCH.  WE DID IT !!  AND HERE'S WHY...

Across China and Vietnam thousands of Asiatic black bears (known as moon bears because of the golden crest on their chest) are kept in desperately miserable condition to satisfy the demand for bear bile, which is used in traditional Chinese medicine.

Imagine 'living' in a cage all of your life.  Having your teeth and claws pulled out.  No stimulation, no life outside that cage. Just day after day of misery and pain. It's heart-breaking - and it shouldn't be happening in this day and age.

Animals Asia are working to end this brutal industry once and for all, as well as caring for the bears they have rescued at their sanctuaries in China and Vietnam.

Every penny raised will go towards helping this amazing charity achieve their goal of ending the bear bile industry.  Please give whatever you can.
