<p>I'm lucky enough to work for Womankind,&nbsp;a fantastic charity improving 1000s of women's lives all over the world.&nbsp; In some countries, this could involve accompanying a girl to a village meeting so she can tell her community that it's against the law for a girl to be forced to marry a man after he has raped her. Or we might provide legal help to enable a woman to obtain a divorce from a man who beats her, or work with the police to encourage them to help women rather than return them to their husbands.</p> <p>So to keep this work going through difficult economic times and to increase the number of women who benefit from our work, I've decided to run for Womankind - and as someone who has never run anywhere, that's a pretty big deal!
