The walk took place on Saturday 24th September, starting at around 1130. We met  up at Bayside Cabin and walked along Stokes Bay beach between Bayside Cabin and the GAFIRS centre (Gosport and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service) and then walked back to Bayside Cabin to chat and pick up our medals.

Thanks to everyone who donated and kept my spirits up while I waited for the day of the walk. On the day, my sister (Jaquie Williams) and a friend (Sandra) walked along with me. 

There was quite a turnout and the weather stayed sunny and warm. I had a fabulous time and will definitely be giving this walk another go in 2012.
