Story

Following the devastation in Nepal caused by the recent earthquake, the Npower Supply Chain have set themselves a challenge of climbing Everest!

However, because we couldnt all get leave at the same time, we will be climbing the equivalent height on the staircases of our Worcester office - thatsover 44,000 steps between us...

The recent earthquake has caused swathes of damage across large areas of central Nepal, killing or injuring over 20,000 people.  In addition to the destruction in and around Kathmandu, entire Himalayan villages have been devastated by the initial disaster and its aftershocks.  A lack of communications, poor weather conditions and damaged infrastructure mean that the full extent of the ruin remains unclear.

Your money will help provide;

  •  financial and medical aid,
  • food, shelter,
  • the ability to repair and rebuild houses,
  •  the ability to rebuild crucial infrastructure,
  • the ability to rebuild schools

Every pound raised (up to £500) will be matched by npower
