Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am hoping to run (not walk too much...) in the Womens 5K challenge on Sunday 6th September in aid of CALM (campaign against living miserably). I was asked to run by my friend who is a connected to the charity. It helps young men through a website and a helpline, who are feeling suicidal. Suicide is the second biggest killer of men aged 15-35 in the UK with around three deaths a day. It is the biggest killer of men aged 18-24. I personally know of two young men whose lives have tragically ended this way and I am glad to try and help. The CALM website is there to reassure help and do its utmost to get young men talking about their problems to trained advisors.
I am not very fit, having just come back from a sedentary scottish holiday and pizza, pasta and ice cream tour of Italy. But I would be grateful if you would sponsor me.
