Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am leaving for Tanzania on the 10th on June.  On the 12th June I will start the 6 day trek to the top of Kilimanjaro reaching an altitude of 19,000 feet. It would be great if you could sponsor me so we can continue supporting the children in the home.

Our new home is near completion and it is hoped that the children can be moved by April.  We currently have 45 children in our care but the new home will accomodate 75 children as sadly there is still a great number of children in need of a decent start in life.

The building project is generating an income for local people as we only use local suppliers for materials and local workers.  Our aim is to make the home self reliant so they will not depend on our funding long term (with the exception of school fees).

The children are all in excellent health thanks to the abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables our plot of land is now producing.

The Trust also pays for school fees and all our children receive a private education from the age of 3 years old and we fund further training after school age.  Having just received some of this years school reports, we are very proud of their hard work and dedication to their school work.

Please help us to continue our support of these children and please be assured that all donations are gratefully received both here in Scotland and in Kenya.

On behalf of the children, Jane in Mombasa and the trustees here, thank you for your continued support.  We are unable to do this without you!

Love Susanx
