In a moment of madness over a few drinks last November Yvonne Goodwin and I decided to "do" the Snowdonia Marathon 2009 (http://www.snowdoniamarathon.com . It seemed like a "good idea" at the time! All of a sudden it's almost upon us - 24th October 2009. It will be one huge challenge (as a middle-aged "power" walker, Snowdonia, end of October, hmmm....) and I would like Katharine House Hospice to benefit from all of my huffings and puffings, blisters and stiff joints, since these minor inconveniences will be a very small price to pay if I can raise lots of money for the Hospice. I have my own personal reasons for choosing to raise funds for those involved with the Katharine House as many of you know.
