We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

TEAM JANE is a crack team of runners made up of the three daughters and two of the sisters of Jane Dixon.  Jane died in 2003, and was looked after in her last weeks by Marie Cure Cancer Care in their hospice in Newcastle.  The staff at Marie Curie did a fantastic job of caring for Jane in the final days of her life and it was a huge comfort to her friends and family to know that she was in such good hands at what was otherwise a very sad and difficult time.  Marie Curie Cancer Care does great work, not only caring for the terminally ill, but also researching new and better methods of palliative care and campaigning for greater patient choice as to where and how they are cared for at the end of their lives.

So we're running the Bath Half Marathon on 7 March 2010 in memory of our lovely mum/sister and to raise some cash for a very good cause.  So please sponsor us and support this extremely deserving charity!

Many thanks in advance,

Gillian, Tricia, Sue, Katharine and Ali.
