I am doing the Great South Run in Portsmouth on October 25th. It is live on channel 5 from 10.30am. My chosen charity is Portsmouth Family church and I am looking for sponsors to help me raise a target of at least £500 towards their building fund as they look to be able to put a deposit on a property by some time in 2010.

This will be the fifth time I have done the race which is mainly flat but is challenging in itself, especially the last couple of miles when the wind and rain are in direct opposition to the runners along the seafront. I will endeavour to update the page on the sunday afternoon to let you know how I did.
