My name is tai, I am currently ten years old, I already have lots of toys and for my 11th birthday I want to give something back.

Our family lost 4 loved ones in the space of a year; this was a very sad time for us, I have helped at school with Macmillan support Charity days and I loved helping just like they loved helping my family members and when my mam and dad asked me what I would like for my 11th birthday which is on 13th Aug 2016 I asked to arrange and complete a charity bike ride from Edinburgh to Newcastle (my home town).

I am going to work very hard by training for the lead up to this two day bike ride, this is the first time I will have undertaken such a big task and I plan to put my heart and soul into it even if it gets hard I know that I can do this.

We will be stopping for one night in our pop up tent and then we will arrive in Newcastle on the second day.

We are going to buy a bike worthy of this task in February and all the kit needed so if anyone can help please please get in contact.
